While Steben Motors is now open normal business hours, we continue to take measures to ensure the continued safety of our customers and employees. Chairs and writing implements are sanitized, we have a "sanitization station" available to our customers for added peace of mind, and all vehicles are sanitized prior to release.
In an effort to help us continue to adhere to state mandates and/or recommendations, we required that all customers wear a mask or protective face covering when entering our building, and whenever 6-foot distancing cannot be maintained.

Immediate opening for Autobody Technician!

Hours: 8am – 4:30pm

Days: Monday – Friday

Pay: $18.00 - $26.00

Steben Auto Body in West Hartford has an immediate opening for an autobody technician. We are a family-owned business and have been a staple in the community since 1955. We are very busy and as a result we are currently looking for an experienced autobody technician to join our team full time. 

A minimum of 3 years of experience is preferred for someone with knowledge of all aspects of auto body repair. Structural panel repair experience and welding certification are preferred, and you must have your own tools.   I-Car and ASE certifications are helpful but not necessary.

Must be dependable, hard working and work well on a team. 

Starting pay is commensurate with experience. We offer Vacation & Holiday pay, 401K, Health Insurance, Life Insurance and employee perks.

Steben Motors accepts all auto insurance carriers and we are a direct repair facility for Nationwide, USAA, Travelers, The Hartford, ARI and Horace Mann. Once you have called in your claim, we will work directly with your insurance company so you don't have to.
